| In collaboration with Sopra Group and Orange, Syntec Santé is presenting a white paper on the information system at the core of hospital modernisation
The HIT trade show is an opportunity to present the white paper on the subject of “The Digital Hospital as the Market Opens Up”, produced by the Syntec Santé Task Force, consisting of the major firms that invest in the healthcare sector.
This white paper has been jointly presided over by Orange and Sopra Group.
Jean-Yves Robin, Director of ASIP Santé and Alain Folliet, Deputy Director of CNAMTS, contributed to this work by providing their respective reports.
Syntec Santé puts forward the structuring issues at stake for the digital hospital in a context of major transformation: patient path, medical practices, links with external medical facilities, governing and regional bodies and treatment networks, local authorities, healthcare professionals and suppliers.
The objective of this white paper is to share its observations of the organisation currently in place with healthcare establishment executive bodies and put into perspective the capacity for new forms of technology to support this transformation and move towards a healthcare information and communication system in an era of opening markets and regional relocation.
The white paper covers several channels of study:
-
the current situation: an information and communication system that still needs consolidation
-
the foundations to be set up or reinforced to take on the challenges represented by the digital hospital as the market opens up
-
an infrastructure to ensure that professional sector processes are optimised
-
the patient as the focus of paths of treatment
-
a smooth flow of information within the extended hospital
-
robust governance
-
feedback on experiences in France and Europe to illustrate the choices made to cover these issues
-
technological bricks: the infrastructure, data security, communication and collaboration applications, professional sector applications, administration applications, workstations and patient terminals.
This white paper is a further opportunity for members of the Syntec Santé Group to demonstrate their investment in support for the issues at stake in the world of healthcare.
